Couples & Individual Counsellor | Professional Supervisor | Counselling Trainer Michelle brings a strong background in pastoral care, having worked alongside pastoral teams to support individuals through life’s challenges. She offers individual and couples counselling, as well as professional supervision in both group and one-on-one settings. Her practice is grounded in trauma-informed approaches, creating a compassionate, safe, and respectful space for every client. Michelle is trained in a range of evidence-based modalities, including: – Level Two Gottman Method Couples Therapy – Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – And other integrative, client-centred methods Michelle is particularly passionate about working with couples—whether navigating conflict, healing from relational wounds, or simply seeking to strengthen connection. She also supports individuals dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, and the impacts of past trauma or adverse life experiences. Her goal is to offer a safe and collaborative space to explore identity, growth, and meaningful change in life and relationships. Michelle is a Level 2 Member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and a registered member of the ACA College of Supervisors. She is particularly passionate about supporting Christian counsellors who seek to integrate faith-based interventions into their work in a sensitive, ethical, and client-centred way. A qualified trainer and assessor, Michelle is deeply invested in the formation of emerging counsellors.
