Welcome to a safe space to contemplate the tougher issues of life. Helping hurting people is my passion and the reason I became a Counsellor. With unconditional acceptance, I support individuals to find healing and move forward with their lives. Positive changes are promoted by guiding clients to build on existing strengths, creating empowerment and developing new skills to manage current difficulties. With an integrated, client-centred approach I specialise in areas, but not limited to; anxiety, carer's support, depression, personal issues, relationships, self-esteem, stress, student support, trauma, work stress and well-being. Throughout my career and leadership ministry I have been passionate about delivering care to children, women and elders in an empathetic and respectful manner. Eagle’s Wing’s Christian Counselling seeks to support you on this journey Russell has broad life experience having lived and worked in cross cultural settings, overseas, remote, Indigenous communities, and outback Australia. He has a background in general, mission, and medical retrieval aviation, but has also worked in full time pastoral ministry and served in lay leadership in local churches. Russell has been married for 41 years to Heather. They have 3 married children and 10 grandchildren. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Counselling. He is a member of the Australian Counselling Association. Russell offers a holistic approach with a Christian worldview, working with and helping people navigate life’s challenges, improving relationships and enhancing their emotional wellbeing. Couples & Individual Counsellor | Professional Supervisor | Counselling Trainer Michelle brings a strong background in pastoral care, having worked alongside pastoral teams to support individuals through life’s challenges. She offers individual and couples counselling, as well as professional supervision in both group and one-on-one settings. Her practice is grounded in trauma-informed approaches, creating a compassionate, safe, and respectful space for every client.
